1. Interpretation and definitions

In these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean DETAIL San Diego LLC, doing business as DETAIL San Diego. "You" means the parent or legal guardian using this website or enrolling an athlete, and "Athlete" means the participant in our programs. "Services" means our basketball training sessions, academies, camps, events and this website.

2. Acknowledgement

By using this website, booking a session or enrolling in a program, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our Services.

3. Communication terms

3.1 Text messages (SMS)

By giving consent on one of our forms, you agree to receive text messages from DETAIL San Diego about your inquiry, bookings, reminders and program updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

3.2 Email

You agree to receive service emails such as confirmations and reminders. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email.

4. Membership terms

4.1 Billing

Memberships and payments are processed through CoachIQ. Prices, billing dates and payment methods are shown at checkout and in your membership agreement, which governs your plan.

4.2 Pausing

Requests to pause a membership are handled under the terms of your membership agreement. Contact us before your next billing date.

4.3 Canceling

Cancellation notice periods and any commitment terms are set out in your membership agreement. Send cancellation requests to info@detailsdhoops.com.

4.4 Missed sessions

Missed sessions are handled under your membership agreement and are not refunded unless that agreement says otherwise.

4.5 Switching plans

To change programs or plans, contact us and we will confirm what changes and when it takes effect.

5. Free trial terms

New athletes may book one free trial session, subject to availability. A parent or guardian must complete the booking form and any required waiver before the session. The free session carries no obligation to enroll.

6. Code of conduct

Athletes, parents and guests are expected to treat coaches, staff, other athletes and the facility with respect. We may remove anyone from a session, without refund, for unsafe, abusive or disruptive behavior.

7. Media release

Photos and videos may be taken during sessions and events and used to promote DETAIL San Diego. If you do not want your athlete to appear, notify a coach or email us and we will honor that request going forward.

8. Privacy policy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information.

9. Waiver of liability

Basketball training involves physical activity and a risk of injury. Participation requires a signed waiver and release, which forms part of your agreement with us. To the extent permitted by law, you assume the risks of participation as described in that waiver.

10. Promotions

Discounts, referral offers and other promotions are subject to the terms stated with each offer, may not be combined unless stated, and may be changed or ended at any time.

11. Your feedback to us

If you send us ideas or feedback, you agree we may use them to improve our Services without any obligation to you.

12. Links to other websites

This website may link to sites we do not control, such as booking, payment and social media platforms. We are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices.

13. Termination

We may suspend or end access to our Services for anyone who breaks these Terms, the code of conduct or their membership agreement.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DETAIL San Diego LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of this website or our Services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Services in the three months before the claim.

15. "As is" and "as available" disclaimer

This website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the site will always be available or error free.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

17. Disputes resolution

If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.

18. Severability and waiver

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to do so later.

19. Translation and interpretation

If these Terms are translated, the English version controls in the event of any conflict.

20. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the website or our Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
