When you fill in a form on this website, book a free session or enroll, we collect the details you give us: the parent or guardian's name, email address and phone number, and the athlete's name, grade or age group and training interests. We also collect basic technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, the pages you view and how you arrived at the site.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your questions, book and confirm training sessions, send session reminders and program updates, manage memberships, and improve our programs and website. We do not sell your personal information.

3. SMS and email opt-in details

3.1 Text messages (SMS)

If you give consent on one of our forms, DETAIL San Diego may send text messages about your inquiry, bookings, session reminders and program updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

3.2 Email

If you share your email address, we may send booking confirmations, reminders and program news. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to stop by emailing info@detailsdhoops.com.

4. Data security practices

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including secure (HTTPS) connections and access limited to the staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Cookies and tracking

6. No sharing of SMS opt-ins

Our programs serve young athletes, but our forms are meant to be completed by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information without a parent's involvement, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Media release

Photos and videos may be taken during training sessions, camps and events and may be used on our website and social media. If you do not want your athlete to appear, tell a coach or email info@detailsdhoops.com and we will honor your request going forward.

10. Third-party platforms and external sites

We use trusted third-party services to run our programs, including scheduling and messaging tools and CoachIQ for memberships and payments. Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies. This website may link to other sites; we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

11. Policy updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised policy.
